The Berkeley Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring
a special panel discussion in late June entitled: "How to
make money 'Greening Your Business'". The event will take
place at the DoubleTree Hotel at 200 Marina Blvd. in Berkeley,
on Tuesday, June 29, 2004, from 11:30a.m. until 1p.m. The panel
includes Ina Pockrass, co-founder of transcendentist™, who
will give tips on building customer loyalty through eco-friendly
marketing. Joining Ina will be Mike Hannigan, co-founder of the
office supply company, Give Something Back, which is built on
the model of Newman's Own; Sheryl O'Loughlin, VP of Marketing
for Clif Bar, and Kate Squire of the City of Berkeley's Office
of Economic Development. The cost of the event, which includes
lunch, is $25 for Berkeley Chamber members, $40 for non-members.

Please join us for a complimentary evening
with Unity Nguyen, a licensed acupuncturist who is now seeing
clients in the Wellness Room at transcendentist®. Unity will
tell us and show us how this healing art can speed recovery from
dental work, make procedures more comfortable, and even lessen
the anxiety some feel around dental visits. She will explain how
acupuncture works with the body’s wisdom by allowing chi
(life force energy) to better circulate. Unity will also demonstrate
the healing power of music, by playing traditional Vietnamese
and West African instruments while one lucky attendee receives
a restorative acupuncture treatment.

Transcendentist® Honored by Green Business Program
On Tuesday, February 24, 2004,
transcendentist® will be honored by the Bay Area Green Business
Program at a special event in Oakland City Hall, from 5:30 to
7 p.m. The event is open to all, and Jeffrey Hollender, Founder
and President of Seventh Generation, a producer of environmentally
sound household and paper products will be on hand with words
of inspiration about why green businesses are not only necessary,
but the wave of the future.

Dr. Fred and Ina Pockrass Host Chanting and Meditation Evening
Join us Tuesday, December 9,
2003 from 7 to 9 p.m. and sing your way into the true spirit of
this holiday season with a meditation and chanting evening led
by Dr. Fred and Ina Pockrass. Dr. Fred will bring his guitar and
guide us through several ancient Indian chants which he mastered
while living in the Kullu Valley of Northern India for more than
10 years. If you can say "Om", you can sing along, so
bring your Highest Self and join us for an uplifting, spiritual
evening. Space is limited for this complimentary event, so please

Transcendentist® Honored by Berkeley's Mayor
Berkeley Mayor Tom Bates holds
a special gathering on Thursday, November 20, 2003 to spotlight
the city's ever-expanding number of green businesses. In an event
billed as a "Green Gathering", the Mayor will unveil
a new kind of city map, one that shows the location of every sustainable
business in the trend-setting city. The Mayor has chosen just
seven businesses which embody the best of sustainability and sound
business methods, and transcendentist® is proud to have been
selected as one of those businesses.

Symposium
On Friday, November 14, 2003,
from 2:30 to 4:30, Dr. Fred will appear at a
special symposium devoted to the potential impact of medical waste
and
approaches for improvement. Because Dr. Fred's practice is the
first dental
office certified as a green business by the Bay Area Green Business
program
(www.greenbiz.abag.ca.gov),
the City of Berkeley has asked him to talk about
the measures he implemented to create and operate a dental office
which is
